• For head bolts on Detroit Diesel® 50 and 60 series engines
• Tight clearances between some head bolts and the cylinder head casting require a thin walled socket – these engines are found in truck, bus, motor home, marine and heavy equipment
• The increased height of the socket allows for clearance between the drive tool (ratchet, breaker bar or torque wrench) and installed valve train components, allowing technicians access to head bolts from either side of the engine
